YouTube Team Taco Night on the Beach for 75

Three months after hosting YouTube's marketing summit, we welcomed another YouTube group in July 2024: a 75-person team from its Responsibility organization, for a weekday evening on the beach near Lifeguard Tower 12. The chalkboard read "Welcome Responsibility Org!"
The organizer wanted a mix of seating, not just pillows and a sit-down table, so we set low tables with floor pillows for dining and added lounge areas with beach chairs for people who wanted to kick back. Dinner was a Taco Man Catering taco bar, a choice the organizer was excited about since Taco Man had been a staple at her own childhood parties. We ordered it on the team's behalf so there was a single point of contact, and it was served from our shaded buffet area.
Lawn games sat off to the side, and with Perry's Beach Cafe next door, guests had a spot for drinks nearby. The evening ran about three hours.
