DMN8 Company Park Day Picnic for 50 with Canopies and Lights

DMN8 hosted a company park day in July 2024, and we built a custom picnic layout for about 50 guests. The setup was organized into eight separate picnic stations, each on its own rug with a low table, an umbrella anchored with a weighted base and sandbags, and a boho tablecloth and runner.

Three canopies with back walls formed the backbone of the space, one of them carrying a sign for the event, and three buffet tables sat under the shade for the group's food. Medium plants and succulents dressed the tables, and string lights ran between the umbrellas to tie the eight stations together into one connected space.

The station-style layout let a big team spread out in smaller groups while still sharing one event footprint — a good format for a company day where people drift between conversations, food and shade over the course of the afternoon.
