SpaceX Team Beach Day at Dockweiler Beach

SpaceX brought its team to the sand in July 2024 for a Friday beach day at Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey. The request came in as a midday corporate picnic for a large group, and we scaled our full picnic setup to match, building a spread of low tables, rugs and cushions for the whole team.

Because Dockweiler was a custom location for us, we planned the layout around convenience: the setup sat close to the parking lot so the whole team could walk straight out from their cars, and our on-site manager dropped a pin to the organizer once the build was underway so everyone knew exactly where to head.

Drinks were handled with a flexible cooler plan. One cooler held still water and another held sparkling, while two more were packed with ice only, leaving room for the team to chill whatever they brought along. It made for an easy, self-serve afternoon by the water for a big group that just wanted to show up and enjoy the beach together.
