SimplePractice Legal & Risk Team Beach Picnic by the Sandbourne

SimplePractice brought its Legal & Risk team to the beach on a Tuesday at the end of September 2025. Instead of our usual spot north of the pier, the group met on the sand directly in front of the Sandbourne Santa Monica, just south of the pier, and the welcome chalkboard read "Welcome SimplePractice Legal & Risk Team!"
We set up our Classic Beach Picnic scaled to a team of about 20: low picnic tables on rugs with pillows, umbrellas for shade, beach chairs, a table runner with succulents and flameless candles, and full place settings. An iced cooler held still and sparkling water for everyone, and because the team planned to bring its own drinks, we added two extra coolers with two bags of ice each.
The team planned to cater from Milo & Olive, one of our regular partners for afternoon and evening picnics, and we pointed them to the Rustic Canyon Restaurant Group's events team to place the order.
