Sequel Travel Company Beach Party for 55 in Santa Monica

Sequel Travel brought 55 of its people to the beach in September 2024 for an evening company event. The team opted for chairs over floor pillows, so we set the group up banquet style, with rectangular tables seating six guests each and string lights strung across the setup for the hours after sunset.

The timeline was built around a 5pm arrival. Our crew had everything in place by 4pm, the organizer came down at 4:30 to add a welcome sign and a few personal touches, and the party ran until 7:30. Dinner came from Trejo's Tacos, a caterer we have worked alongside before, and the food was laid out on the beach for guests to help themselves.

On our recommendation, the team also booked a photographer, who spent an hour capturing candids of the group from 5:30 to 6:30. It is a simple addition that gives a company something to share afterwards: photos of colleagues gathered around long tables on the sand as the evening light fades over Santa Monica Bay.
