Ruggable Team Beach Picnic for 28 in Santa Monica

Ruggable's XLT team traded the office for the sand one Thursday afternoon in September 2024. The group booked a large beach picnic starting at 4pm, and the final RSVP count settled at 27, so we set it for 28 to keep the tables even, with a chalkboard reading "Welcome Ruggable XLT Team!"

Food came from Thyme Cafe. Their latest delivery window was a couple of hours before the picnic began, so our team received the order on the group's behalf and had it laid out on a shaded buffet area by the time guests arrived. Still and sparkling water was set out for everyone.

Games were a big part of the plan. On top of the cornhole set included with the picnic, the team added a second cornhole set, ladder toss, two Spikeball sets and a volleyball game, turning the picnic into a relaxed afternoon of eating, playing and catching up by the water. It's a setup that works well for leadership and department teams who want an easy outing without anyone having to haul gear to the beach.
