RW Selby & Co. Summer Company Picnic at Lifeguard Tower 28

RW Selby & Co. brought its team to the sand in August 2023 for a summer company picnic. Months before, the company's office manager met us at the beach to walk the exact spot, so there were no surprises on the day.
At Lifeguard Tower 28 we set up picnic seating along with 20 camping chairs for anyone who wanted more back support, three large event canopies for shade, and six buffet tables for the catered lunch, which arrived late morning. Drinks ran well beyond water: coolers were stocked with still and sparkling water plus Coke, 7UP and ginger ale. A sign-in table and signage greeted employees on arrival, and the chalkboard read "RW Selby & Co. a Picnic on the Beach."
The games list was built for a mixed crowd: four cornhole sets, four ladder toss sets, four Spikeball sets, two bocce sets, and both an adult and a kids' volleyball setup. A Bose S1 speaker with a microphone handled music and announcements over roughly three hours on the beach.
