A Team Picnic with Thyme Cafe Catering at Tower 28

A corporate team of 30 came to Lifeguard Tower 28 in September 2023 for a catered beach picnic. The setup mixed classic picnic seating with ten white chairs for guests who preferred to sit up off the sand, and a canopy covered three buffet tables for the food.
Catering came from Thyme Cafe, along with 30 individual charcuterie cups so everyone had a snack in hand. Cornhole, ladder toss and bocce were set up next to the picnic, and a Bose speaker handled the music. It's a straightforward format that works for a team this size: food in the shade, games on the sand, and plenty of room to spread out.
