A Long-Table Beach Dinner for 32 with a DJ and Taco Vendor

Not every beach picnic splits into small groups. For this October 2025 dinner, the host wanted everyone together at one table, so we laid out a single long picnic table on the sand with 14 seats down each side and two at each end, 30 places in all, for a group of about 32.

A long table like this gives a beach dinner the feel of a family-style supper, where everyone can see and talk to everyone else. Our Classic Beach Picnic styling ran the full length of the table: rugs and pillows, table runners, candles and full place settings.

Dinner came from a taco vendor who arrived at 4:30pm to serve on site, and we added an extra cooler with ice for the group's drinks. A DJ provided the music, which turned the evening into more of a party once the meal was done.
