An Evening Beach Picnic at Tower 26 in Ocean Park

This host came to us after attending a small dinner party we set up at Tower 12, and wanted the same feel for a bigger gathering of her own, but farther south. In August 2025 we built a custom Large Beach Picnic at Lifeguard Tower 26 in Ocean Park for a Sunday evening from 4:30pm to 8:30pm.

Headcounts for events like this tend to move right up until the week of, so the booking stayed flexible. The host settled on 27 picnic seats at low tables, with any extra guests welcome to bring their own blankets and join around the edges. We shared a map directing guests to the correct entrance for the nearby south beach lot so no one ended up at the wrong address.

Two buffet tables under two umbrellas held the food, and since the group planned several courses, we added extra disposable plates, dessert forks, cups and silverware beyond the usual one set per person. An extra cooler gave the group more room for ice and drinks, and a Bose S1 speaker provided music as the evening went on.
