A 15th birthday called for a beach afternoon with friends. The family found us through word of mouth and booked a Large Beach Picnic for 22 guests on a Sunday in early November 2025, with the chalkboard ready to wish the birthday girl a happy 15th.
The party was first booked for 3pm to 6pm. But the date fell right after the clocks went back for daylight saving, which pulls sunset much earlier, so the host moved the party to 2pm to 5pm to make the most of the remaining daylight. It is a detail worth planning for with any late-fall beach event in Santa Monica.
Our Large Beach Picnic setup, scaled to the group, gave the guests low tables, cushions, shade and still and sparkling water on ice, and a Bose S1 speaker handled the playlist for the afternoon.
