BXP LA Team Afternoon Picnic at Lifeguard Tower 28

BXP, formerly Boston Properties, brought its Los Angeles team together for an afternoon company picnic in August 2022. The chalkboard sign read "BXP LA Picnic," and about 20 people joined us at Lifeguard Tower 28 from 1 to 4 pm on a Thursday.
The event was first planned for June and moved to August, and with a warm week leading up to it, the organizer checked in ahead of time about shade. The setup included picnic seating for the group plus cornhole, ladder toss, Spikeball and bocce ball to play through the afternoon, and catering was part of the plan.
Tower 28 sits in Santa Monica's Ocean Park neighborhood, south of the pier, a convenient spot for Westside teams. A three-hour afternoon slot like this one gives a team time to eat, play a few rounds and still get back before the end of the workday.
