UP.Labs Team Beach Picnic with Games at Tower 28

UP.Labs brought its team to Lifeguard Tower 28 in September 2022 for a 2 to 5 pm picnic on the sand. The company originally planned for around 45 guests, and we ultimately configured the setup with picnic seating for 20 and tableware for 45, so people could rotate between the tables, the buffet and the games.
The team arranged its own food, served from two buffet tables, and we added charcuterie boards to the spread. For games we brought two cornhole sets, two ladder toss sets, bocce ball and Spikeball.
Seating part of a large group and leaving the rest free to mingle is a practical way to host a bigger team on the beach: not everyone sits at once, and the games area keeps people moving. Tower 28, in the Ocean Park area south of the Santa Monica Pier, has the room to do both.
