A Backyard Baby Shower for 35 with Banquet Tables and String Lights

Not every celebration happens on the sand. In March 2026 we took our setup to a private backyard for a Sunday baby shower. The family came to us on a referral from a past client, and the guest list grew from an early estimate of 25-30 to 35 in the final week.

The layout was built for a seated party: 35 white banquet chairs around eight dining tables, each with its own umbrella and base for shade. Tablecloths and dishes dressed the tables, and six sets of string lights added warmth over the yard. Two canopies covered six buffet tables for the food.

An igloo cooler kept drinks cold, a chalkboard sign welcomed guests to the shower, and a Bose speaker played music through the afternoon. We also set up a cornhole game in the yard for anyone who wanted to play. The family handled flowers and plants themselves, and our team took care of all the furniture, shade and lighting.
