Amazon Client Event Beach Picnic at Tower 12 with Milo & Olive

An Amazon team chose the beach for a client event on a Wednesday in June 2025, reaching out through our corporate inquiry form for a late-afternoon gathering. We set up our Classic Beach Picnic on the sand at Lifeguard Tower 12, just north of the Santa Monica Pier, scaled to a final headcount of 17.

The Classic setup is built for exactly this kind of relaxed hosting: low picnic tables on rugs with large pillows, a white tassel umbrella, beach chairs and a cornhole game, dressed with a table runner, succulents, flameless candles and a chalkboard. Plates, chargers, silverware, cups and napkins were set at each place, and an iced cooler held still and sparkling water.

For food, the team ordered from Milo & Olive, one of our go-to caterers for afternoon picnics, and we coordinated getting it down to the sand. Because the group wanted to bring its own beverages, we added two more coolers filled with ice so everything stayed cold through the event. The team started with a smaller headcount and grew it closer to the date, which the picnic format handles easily.
