A Mallorca-Inspired Paella Night in a Brentwood Backyard

Not every picnic happens on the sand. In June 2022 we brought our setup to a private backyard in Brentwood for a paella night: an influencer dinner the host was throwing at home for a group of women.

The host wanted a chic, casual look to match the evening's theme, Mallorca beach vibes, so we went with our low tables, rugs and floor pillows rather than a formal table-and-chairs setup. We provided the full tablescape along with plates, glassware and silverware, and left the charcuterie boards off since dinner was the main event.

Dinner started at 7 pm and ran until about 10:30, so our team arrived a couple of hours early to set up and returned at the end of the night to break everything down. Backyard events like this one let hosts keep the relaxed, low-to-the-ground feel of a beach picnic while serving a full dinner at home.
