A Pride Month Beach Picnic for 40 at Lifeguard Tower 28

June is Pride Month, and in 2023 one group marked it with a large picnic on the sand at Lifeguard Tower 28 in Ocean Park. We set the picnic up for 40 guests.
Entertainment made this more of a party than a quiet lunch. A DJ played through the afternoon, and a photographer and videographer covered the event. On the sand, guests could choose between cornhole, ladder toss, Spikeball and bocce.
The group brought catered food, which we set out on two buffet tables beside the picnic so guests could serve themselves between games and conversations. With music, food and games all within a few steps, the layout made it easy to mingle.
