Community Corp of Santa Monica Staff Beach Party for 75

Santa Monica nonprofit Community Corporation of Santa Monica brought its staff to the beach for a summer party in August 2024. The team sent invitations once the date was set, tracked RSVPs internally, and landed at roughly 75 guests.

At Lifeguard Tower 12 we combined two seating styles: 47 seats of low pillow tables on rugs plus 30 banquet chairs at long tables, so guests could choose between lounging and sitting upright. Shade was a priority on a warm day, so we put up two canopies over four buffet tables. Lunch came from Mendocino Farms, with four large foodie packages delivered and set out under the canopies.

A DJ kept the music going, and the sand filled up with cornhole, ladder toss, Spikeball and bocce.
