Infra-Metals Team Beach Dinner at Tower 12

The Infra-Metals team (part of the Reliance CS Group) visited Santa Monica in May 2026 for a day that started with a volunteer project and ended at the beach. After free time in the afternoon, the group came to our setup at Lifeguard Tower 12 for a cocktail hour from 5 to 6 PM, followed by dinner from 6 to 8 PM.

The group had first planned a paint-and-sip class, so we set the seating up as banquet chairs at standard-height tables. When they dropped the painting and asked for casual games, we added cornhole, giant Jenga on its own table and Spikeball. A shaded buffet area with three buffet tables held the food, and a Bose speaker on a tripod played music.

Vucacious Catering served dinner on the sand. The final menu included Mediterranean mezze, antipasti misti, a roasted fennel and strawberry salad, chicken skewers, salmon satay and a fresh fruit display, plus a beer and wine package. The headcount went up by one the day before, so we brought extra chairs.
