A 40-Guest Beach Picnic with a Morning-Style Spread

In May 2026 we set up a team picnic on the sand for a group of 40. They wanted a mix of seating, so we put 30 guests on low picnic seating with pillows and rugs and set a banquet section with standard-height tables and chairs for another 10.

The food area was large for a group this size: six buffet tables under two canopies. The table details made it feel like a morning spread. We used real silverware instead of disposables, white cups, 40 champagne flutes, carafes for orange juice and white serving trays. Two extra-large coolers, one of them on wheels, held the drinks.

For the rest of the time, cornhole and Spikeball were set up nearby, and a Bose S1 speaker on a tripod played music. This kind of layout works well for a team: people can sit down for a proper meal and then move over to the games whenever they like.
