Whiting-Turner's Circus-Themed Family Beach Day at Tower 12

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company's Greater Los Angeles offices (Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles and Long Beach) held their 3rd Annual Beach Picnic at Lifeguard Tower 12 in June 2026. It was a family day, with employees bringing spouses, family members, kids and babies, and it ran from noon into the afternoon.

This year the theme was a circus, done in a clean, elegant style instead of a loud one, and the main attraction was a live circus artist performing for guests of all ages. We supplied the picnic setup, seating and buffet tables, and on the morning of the event our team met the guests at the parking lot so they could walk straight to a finished setup.

Vucacious Catering served a farm-to-table spread. For the kids they added sliders, chocolate chip cookies and lemon bars. The organizer added a few extra touches of her own, like candy for the kids to match the circus theme.
