A Joint 50th Birthday Beach Picnic for About 50

In August 2026 a couple celebrated both of their 50th birthdays together with a beach party for about 50 guests. The chalkboard at the setup wished them both a happy 50th. The picnic started at 11 AM, and guests came and went through the morning and into the afternoon.

The guests ranged from young children to older relatives, so the hosts wanted more than one kind of seating. We ended up with two picnic packages for 20 people on pillows at low tables, a banquet package with standard-height chairs for 10, and two cabana packages seating another 20 in shaded lounge chairs, for 50 seats in total. A shaded buffet area held the food, and coolers with ice, still water and sparkling water came with the package.

The hosts ordered their catering from Huckleberry Cafe, one of the restaurants we recommend most, delivered at 10:30 AM. Our team met the delivery and brought the food across the sand on our motorized wagons.
