Whatnot Intern Offsite: Pizza Picnic for 30 at Tower 28

Whatnot found us through an online search and booked an intern offsite for July 2023: a 30-person evening picnic at Lifeguard Tower 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. The chalkboard read "Welcome Whatnot!"
Dinner was pizza. The team ordered from Prince Street Pizza for delivery to the beach just before the start and gave our picnic manager's number to the driver. Our crew met the delivery and set the pizzas on a buffet table under an umbrella, so they were ready when the interns arrived.
Bocce, cornhole and ladder toss were set up on the sand around the picnic. For a class of interns who might not know each other well, games give everyone an easy reason to talk. The large-group setup of low tables, rugs, pillows and umbrellas gave them plenty of room to settle in as the evening cooled.
