Bustle Digital Group Welcomes Disney: Beach Picnic for 25

When Bustle Digital Group wanted to host a team from Disney in September 2022, it brought them to Lifeguard Tower 28 in Santa Monica's Ocean Park neighborhood for an afternoon picnic on the sand. A chalkboard at the setup welcomed Disney on behalf of BDG, and we laid out the picnic for 25 guests across six low tables.
The food was part ours and part the hosts'. We brought seven chef's-choice cheese boards with crackers, assorted cheeses, salami, olives, nuts and chocolates. The BDG team brought sandwiches and salads, and we set those out on a six-foot buffet table with a tablecloth and shade umbrellas to keep them out of the sun. Two igloo coolers full of ice held still and sparkling water plus the drinks the group brought.
We also set up bocce and cornhole on the sand. For a client-hospitality afternoon that works well: guests can sit and eat at the table, then wander over to a game whenever they like.
