Demand Side Analytics Team Dinner on the Sand Near the Huntley

Demand Side Analytics was staying at the Huntley Hotel for a September 2023 team gathering and wanted a picnic the group could reach on foot. We set up on the beach in front of Perry's Beach Cafe near Lifeguard Tower 12, about an 11-minute, half-mile walk from the hotel, and sent over a walking map so everyone knew exactly where to go.
The team ordered its meal through Thyme Cafe's Gourmet to Go service, which was delivered to the beach and set out on two buffet tables in the shade. The picnic was set for 20, with cornhole and ladder toss on the sand beside the tables.
For groups staying at the Huntley, the Fairmont or other hotels on the north side of the pier, this spot is hard to beat: no cars, no parking, and a walk along the ocean on the way in.
