LaunchHouse Evening Beach Picnic with String Lights for 40

LaunchHouse gathered a group of around 40 at Lifeguard Tower 28 in April 2022 for an evening picnic on the beach. Their food was scheduled to arrive at 5:30, so we built the layout around a buffet station ready to receive it, with picnic seating for the whole group nearby.
Because the event ran into the evening, we hung two sets of string lights over the setup. They're a small addition, but they give an evening picnic warmth as the light drops and keep the party feeling cozy rather than winding down.
Tower 28 sits in Santa Monica's Ocean Park area, south of the pier, with a lot close to the sand for caterers and guests. For startup and community groups, an evening picnic like this one is an easy alternative to a restaurant buyout: everyone can move around, talk and eat at their own pace.
