CloudKitchens Team Beach Picnic for 30 in Santa Monica

CloudKitchens brought a team of about 30 to Lifeguard Tower 28 in April 2022 for an outing on the sand. Catering was part of the plan, so we set up a buffet station where the food could be laid out and guests could serve themselves, with picnic seating for the full group alongside it.

To round it out we brought a mix of beach games: badminton, bocce ball, cornhole and volleyballs. It's a combination that works well for a team of this size. Some people want a competitive game, others want to toss a bocce ball with a drink in hand, and everyone ends up back at the tables.

Tower 28, in the Ocean Park section south of the Santa Monica Pier, was our main beach location in 2022, with parking nearby and enough sand for a 30-person layout plus a games area.
