Alo Yoga Team Beach Day for 180+ at Tower 28

Alo Yoga's People Experience team planned a beach day for its staff at Lifeguard Tower 28 in Ocean Park in September 2026. The event ran from noon to 4 PM, and the guest list grew during planning to 183.

Another vendor ran games on the sand, so our setup was for eating and lounging afterward. We don't seat everyone at once at an event this size. We usually plan seats for 60 to 70 percent of the guests and add standing room. The final layout mixed picnic packages (low tables and pillows), three banquet packages with standard-height chairs, and six beach cabanas for shaded lounging, with highboy cocktail tables for people standing and mingling. Our Event Essentials package and a Shaded Buffet Canopy covered the food service, and we drew a floor plan so the areas would flow into each other.

Vucacious Catering served a grazing station and a house beer and wine package, and our team brought extra water on ice for the afternoon.
