A 30th Birthday Beach Picnic for 21 in Santa Monica

A group of friends marked a 30th birthday on the beach in Santa Monica on a Saturday in September 2024. They booked our Large Beach Picnic for 21 guests, a three-hour picnic starting at noon, right in the middle of the day with the whole afternoon still ahead afterwards.

The large beach picnic scales our standard setup to the group: picnic seating laid out on the sand, umbrellas for shade, still and sparkling water for each guest, and a chalkboard with a personalized birthday message greeting the guest of honor when she arrived. Groups are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, and the table space makes it easy to lay out a shared spread.

Midday birthday picnics like this one are a simple way to gather a big group of friends without hosting at home: everyone shows up, the setup is ready, and when the three hours are up we take care of the pack-down.
